Cindy McDougall
“National Survivors’ Day is about recognising the personal journeys of individuals who have faced tremendous hardships and challenges, but it’s also a day to celebrate their courage and their fight for justice. As a mother, domestic violence survivor, and a fierce advocate for those who are voiceless in having their stories heard, I’m honoured to take on this role and be a one of those voices in support of those who have endured so much.””
