National Survivors’ Day
Every Ribbon, Every Conversation, and #EveryVoice counts.
Show your support for the entire week by wearing multi-coloured ribbons, tying them to your property in places of prominence such as letterboxes, verandas, cars and by making the pledge to acknowledge survivors through social media.
How your Donation will Help
Your donation is used to help Survivors, families and communities impacted by Sexual Assault and Institutional Abuse. Your donation supports the work of IGFF to providing services to Survivors and convening the National Survivors’ Day.
Tiffany Skeggs
Groomed and abused from age 11, Tiff’s brave decision to report her abuse in 2019 helped create Tasmania’s Commission of Inquiry and shine a light on the failure to protect children.
National Survivors’ Day aims to
Acknowledge the profound harm caused to Survivors and the community by sexual assault and institutional abuse
Support efforts towards de-stigmatisation, and public acceptance of the work undertaken by Survivors and advocates
Work to improve responses to Survivors and all those impacted by Sexual Assault and Institutional Abuse
National Survivors’ Day is an initiative of IGFF (In Good Faith Foundation)
A national charity and support service providing advocacy services to individuals, families and communities impacted by institutional abuse for over 20 years.
