Kathleen

Kathleen Walsh is a survivor of child sex abuse and fierce campaigner against institutional child sexual abuse. She is dedicated to supporting, seeking accountability and fighting for justice for all survivors of childhood trauma.

Kathleen's advocacy work is deeply personal, driven by her own experiences of abuse, interactions with the justice system and the deficiencies of support available to all who experience trauma.

Through her tireless efforts, she works closely with organisations, community groups, and government agencies to drive reform and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

Her unwavering dedication and passion have made a profound difference in the lives of many, and her work continues to inspire positive change and healing for those affected by childhood trauma.

Kathleen lives on Bindal & Wulgurukaba Country (Townsville).

Join us in welcoming Kathleen as she continues to fearlessly lead the charge towards a world free from sexual assault and institutional abuse.
